What Is Bingo?
Bingo is a game of chance that is very popular
world wide. The object of Bingo is to match a set of
randomly drawn numbers to a set of numbers contained on your bingo card(s). If a player marks a set of numbers on one of his
or her cards that matches the bingo game's current pattern (before
any other player is able to do so) then that player wins the
game.
In one of the most popular version of bingo game, there are 75 possible numbers to be drawn.
These numbers are organized into 5 columns
of 15 numbers each. The B column contains the numbers 1-15; the
I column contains the numbers from 16-30; the N column has
31-45; the G column 46-60; the last O column contains 61-75.
You can purchase two types
of cards or strips: Random and Dab-All. Random means that each
card in the strip is generated
independently, allowing
one number to appear several
times on the same strip. Dab-all means that every number appears exactly one time on a strip, except that on 75-ball strips,
3 numbers are covered by the Free spots.
At the beginning of the game players should buy cards. You can purchase one or more single strip(s)
(three cards on each strip) or buy a package of tickets.
When the game starts, the balls will be displayed in the Bingo Monitor and/or will be called by the caller.
The current game payout, the ball number
and pattern information is displayed on the Bingo Game Monitor.
Each time a number is called, check to see if the number called matches any numbers on your cards.
In each Bingo game you will have to match a certain pattern, if you match the pattern exactly, you will have a
Bingo.
When you have marked the numbers on your card necessary to match the current game pattern,
and have a Bingo, it will be automatically called for you. If there is more than one winner, the players will share the prize.
The prize is awarded if the card pattern is matched within the number of ordinals identified for the game. If there
is no winner within that ball number the player will win a percentage of sales for the game.
The most important part of any online game and especially bingo game is a specially designed program called the
random number generator.
This is the program that generates a sequence of numbers, which determines what numbers will be drawn. A good random number generator
is one that generates numbers that are: evenly distributed and not correlated unpredictable.
If a random number generator is evenly distributed and not correlated, each number will be hit approximately the same number of
times after a large number of runs. If a random number generator is unpredictable, you will not be able to predict the next number
in a series no matter how many previously generated numbers you have studied.
The randomness of random number generators is tested by comparing a very long sequence of generated numbers to various statistical
distributions. The versions of the random number generators of Bingo Halls listed here was tested (and is continually tested) using a
sequence of at least 300,000,000 numbers to verify its randomness and ensure fair gaming.
The actual payouts are monitored by third party firms.
